Timpurile Verbale în Engleză

Present Simple

Utilizare: acțiuni obișnuite, adevăruri generale

Structură:

• •(+) I/You/We/They work. He/She/It works.
• •(-) I/You don't work. He/She doesn't work.
• •(?) Do you work? Does he work?

Cuvinte cheie: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day

Exemple:

• •I work in Bucharest. (Lucrez în București)
• •She speaks English fluently. (Ea vorbește engleza fluent)

Present Continuous

Utilizare: acțiuni în desfășurare acum

Structură: am/is/are + verb-ing

Cuvinte cheie: now, at the moment, currently, right now

Exemple:

• •I am working on a project now.
• •They are studying for the exam.

Past Simple

Utilizare: acțiuni terminate în trecut

Structură:

• •Verbe regulate: verb + -ed (worked, played)
• •Verbe neregulate: forma a II-a (went, saw, ate)

Cuvinte cheie: yesterday, last week/month/year, ago, in 2020

Exemple:

• •I visited Paris last summer.
• •She didn't go to school yesterday.

Past Continuous

Utilizare: acțiuni în desfășurare în trecut

Structură: was/were + verb-ing

Cuvinte cheie: while, when, at that moment

Exemple:

• •I was watching TV when you called.
• •They were playing football at 5 PM.

Present Perfect

Utilizare: acțiuni din trecut cu relevanță în prezent

Structură: have/has + verb forma a III-a (past participle)

Cuvinte cheie: ever, never, already, yet, just, since, for

Exemple:

• •I have visited London twice.
• •She has just finished her homework.
• •I have lived here since 2010.

Future Simple (Will)

Utilizare: predicții, decizii spontane, promisiuni

Structură: will + verb

Exemple:

• •I will help you tomorrow.
• •It will rain later.

Going to

Utilizare: planuri, intenții

Structură: am/is/are going to + verb

Exemple:

• •I am going to study medicine.
• •They are going to buy a new car.
